I have a W203 coupe (2002) and want to feed power to my satnav (mini-USB)

I have bought a 5V power supply with bare wires/mini-USB connector and intend to come off the glovebox switch and feed the cable through the gap/join between the glovebox and centre console. (hope that makes sense!)

So looking for instructions to loosen the console enough to feed cable through.

Help apppreciated

P.S Would it be wise to add an in-line fuse too? In which case, what size fuse? Power supply is 1200Ma and device expects 1500Ma

If its like the W209 which im sure it is, you need to remove the carpet out of the armrest, underneith will be 2x bolts.

Also, under the gear surround there should be another 2 bolts, remove these aswell and the centre console will piviot upwards allowing you to remove it.

Looks like I will be doing this to run power to glove box for Bluetooth adapter + aux
