Hello all, Apart from comand is there another double din unit to fit the facelift C class that has Sat Nav DVD TV MP3 etc functions and integrates with phone prewire and steering wheel functions? i've seen double din fascias and steering wheel plug adaptors on e bay to suggeat there is, has anyone else dared to stray down a different path to comand

Yes, I have investigated but not got round to it yet! Alpine, JVC, Pioneer, Panasonic all make double din units which will be compatible, although may need some adaptors for the dash & for the wiring looms. The manufacturers' websites should list compatibility. A number of members have installed aftermarket units too- use the search function.
I am not sure about integration with phone pre-wire, but most have bluetooth anyway, so not really essential to integrate.
They may not look as 'oem', but they are much better value for money!

i have the kenwood dnx5220bt, you can buy the fitting kit for w203 for £40 so it will be a good fit, also you can buy the steering wheel control, if you look on kenwood website it tells you a lot more and for £500ish you get sat nav, dvd, radio and bluetooth, a ipod adopator is also avaliable

Where do you get the price of £500ish??.......just done a quick google and the price for the unit alone appears to be about £620 fairly consistently across the board + coat of fitting kit and steering wheel control.
