W203 coupe rear lights

Hi,
Will the newer style c class coupe lights (2005 model with the clear inserts) fit a 2001 model? I know they are both w203 but would like to know if they are a straight swap?

Spmeone who knows will be along soon. I believe that the post-facelift lights will fit a pre-facelift W203 saloon, but the connectors don't match requiring a little wire surgery to fit. Maybe the Sport Coupe is similar?

Cheers Bobby, If it just a bit of rewiring, thats cool. I had to do that when I upgraded my cooper s lights from 2002 to 2005 spec, although that was because the fog light and reverse lights had swapped places!

Yes, they were a straight swap in my 2003 Cl203- no rewiring needed- the plugs/sockets were identical. One side connector was a bit jammed on, but eventually freed with elbow grease

Straight swap, and well worth it!!

You can also add the clear headlights and mirror indicators - a massive improvement!

All this stuff comes up on Ebay quite often.
