w203 coupe trip reset computer...

this may sound like the most supid question but i need an an answer no matter how big a fool it ma make me seem.

how do i reset the trip computer? only had the car a week and the cars done 8k since the trip computer has last been reset and i cant for the life of me figure out how to do it.

Page 158 of owners manual.....press and hold the reset button on the left of the instrument cluster until the statistics have been reset to Zero.....obviously this will reset what is showing on the screen at the time.

Andwhile your there, when you have you lights on, and rotate it it dims/lightens the dash lamps

i figured out how to do all the other stuff just hadnt worked out how to reset the trip computer...what a dunce!!! i'll have to have a pat butchers after work...
