w203 facelift door card

i'm after a w203 facelift drivers side door card, as teh top of the handle has broken and the top of it comes out when you pull the door.

merc say you need to buy teh whole door card

anyone help

Looks like the handle attaches to the bracket and the bracket attaches to the door with a blind rivet..

I'm sure it must be possible to repair without needing the whole door card!
