W203 Faulty glove box cd changer, Hepl!

Hi everyone,

I have a w203 mercedes c200 kompressor (2001) which has a faulty glove box cd changer. For some reason, the cd player will not read cds in the magazine (radio displays 'no cd'). Any ideas how I can fix this problem? I suspect i will need to remove the glove box changer unit, if so how do i go about it?

new cd changer... usually a few on ebay.. expect to pay around £100 for a working used one.

How do i remove the old cd multichanger from the glove box?

Unscrew the single screw that mounts the "cage" in.
