W203 foot vent flap

I have a W203 2002. The pass foot vent flap keeps twitching/opening and closing by itself for about a minute once the car has been started.
any ideas what the problem is and how to fix it?

iT depends which one it is. Some of them can be accessed by removing the panel around the radio and the glovebox . If you are unlucky the the dash and heaterbox has to come out. There are modified rods for the servos behind the radio as they break causing the servos to make a noise.

Are you talking about that annoying clicking noise, was told it would cost over £1000 to fix if dash has to come out. Is there a way round it?

I see you do a mobile service, I take it you wouldnt come all the way to Norfolk but my brother lives in London so could meet there if you can cheat/fix it?

You would have to come to me and I will spend 6 hours on it in my workshop. The complete dash has to come out.

yes it is alot better than £1000 thats for sure

Portsmouth quite a long way from me, requires more thought!
