W203 Idle problem

Just wondering if anyone can diagnose this problem? Its a 2001 C180 Coupé.

When i turn the car over after its been stood for a while, the idol is quite erratic and sometimes even stalls. There is no fault showing on the dash. Also, when driving, it seems to be down on the power a little.

Could all this be a MAF problem? Its due a service in about 3000 km.

Mmmm this could be a MAF issue.

It needs to be plugged in really to read the live data.

Your telling me! Rattles and squeeks, constantly throwing up faults, vibrating steering at any decent speed, bad handling..........

Yeh, sounds like tha MAF - appears to be showing the obvious symptoms.

Not wanting to be picky about your spelling Matt, but it's spelt 'idle'! lol....
