W203 Interior Lamp

Does any one know how to remove the large interior light cluster by the interior mirror?
Do you just lever it off or is there a knack?

Pull down from the rear.
I can get my fingertips to grip the edge furthest from the screen and pull down.
A flat plastic implement will aid in levering the cluster away from the lining if you cannot get your pinkies in there.

Use a fine flat blade to pop out the lamp lens. Inside each side of the reflector you will see a tab, pull inward and the complete OCP will drop from the roof lining.

Think this one includes sunroof controls, but the same principal.

Any idea what sort and size bulbs are inside?

Yes as I have one blown, which is the one the passenger would use.

So you just need to pop off the lens, not remove the unit from the roof panel
