Hi,

On my W203 220 CDI there is a small leak - it is coming from the front driver's side/half of the car (not far from the front of the bumper area)- any idea what it could possibly be or what is suspect around that area from what little I have said? I know its difficult to say without looking at the car - on the garage floor when the fluid has dried it looks black/green - problem has occured after driving the car hard or flooring it unless it is normal wear and tear possibly.... I had the ECU remapped a few weeks ago...

It could be a ATF pipe leaking? It is very difficult to say. Take some pics.

Update: Had issue resolved yesterday and it was not engine related.

Off side front arm was knackered and fluid was leaking from that - had both arms replaced (as best to do it in pairs) and ball joints too as a precaution as the arms came with new ball joints already attached and all appears to be well. This also explains why the front off side of the car would intermitently violently judder under havey breaking.

Is it advisable to get tracking/alignment done after having replaced the arms at the front?
