Hello,
I recently changed my HDI lights over for standard ones and this threw the car into limp mode. I drove it like this for a month or so before reading that it might be a problem with the vacuum system for the headlights, and sure enough there was a vacuum hose that had been disconnected. On reconnecting the hose, my headlights now tilt as they should using the adjuster and the car performs better but it is still in limp. It still doesn't want to go over 2500/3000 rpm but it does get there quicker and I do get a turbo kick once in a while. I have also noticed a hiss from the vacuum pressure converter valve once the ignition is off. Is this normal? Should I replace the valve and valve filter?
