Hello Everyone!
My W203(180K) has some trouble. When I release accelerator down and the rpm gauge down below 2000 rpm, I always hear a noise like some kind of whistle sound. But I can not make sure where the sound is occuring from... engine or transmission? It disappear when I raise RPM up and the gauge is higher up 2000.
Mileage is around 60,000KM.
Mechanic said that he was also able to hear that noise but did not know what the root cause was.
This is not sound but noise which I cannot bear.
Any clue would be appreciated.
