w203 passenger side mirror glass back case

Hi all

Don't know what's going on. Someone smashed the window the other day, which I repaired, but now, someone stole my passenger side mirror!

Couldn't believe these are happening in such a short period of time... anyway, I ordered (eBay) and received the mirror glass with the plastic casing attached on the back of the mirror to get it attached back to the side mirror housing, but it won't fit! I expected to be easy click and fit, but no. It has a different shape between the housing and the mirror plastic case... I thought it'd be one shape fit for all w203.

Does anyone know where I can get the correct mirror back casing to fit it in? and how much will it cost?

My car is w203 2001 c200 kompressor estate.

Thats annoying - I had a mirror snapped clean off last month, luckily it was just an isolated incident, (but i've not been parking in the same spot anymore )

There seems to be a huge range of different mirror units for your car -

I list 2 mirror glasses:

There is an obvious shape difference here, does that help?
