Ok, like me im sure that most people have been told that the rear glass on different W203 models is different depending on which options are factory installed.
WRONG.
The truth is this.
- The heater element pattern is for radio only.
- The GSM cable is the only thing that connects to the aerial (Tele-aid connects to a junction box and not directly to the aerial). The GSM assembly is in 3 parts. Stubby aerial, external mounting plate, internal coupling on the glass. (Not unlike most common aerials).
- The GPS option sits next to the GSM option it is simply stuck on the back window in the dark tinted region.
- TV tuner aerials ....... a coil of wire living in the roof.
THE ONLY CHOICES available in a W203 rear screen are BLUE or GREEN glass. The radio patterns never vary.
The amplification, connections, looms and other small details after the modules are installed is another story. I still havent figured out all the part numbers for GSM and GPS configurations in the OEM style.
