I have recently fitted 18s, I have kept with the staggered fitment but gone 8 fronts and 9 rear. I have 225/40 on the front and 255/35 rear, I have the sports brakes on mine which are the big discs and 4pot brembo calipers, obviously the wheels wouldn't fit. I had to use 15mm spacers to get them on but then used 15mm all round to keep the look. Now they rub on the rear sometimes. I wanted to lower it 40mm but I'm now stuck on what to do. If anyone could help me out and point me in the right direction it would be much appreciated. Just need to know if it's possible. Thanks

Get the arches (inner lip) rolled flat,if that's where they are rubbing.

Is there anything else it will catch if it gets lowered? Not sure if it's rubbing on metal or plastic.

Mark up where you think it is rubbing. Go for a drive get it rubbing the. See where your marks are worn.

Nice one, it looks like it's only a tiny bit of plastic, but it obviously sounds worse than it is.
