W203 Wing Mirror Indicator (NS)

A few days ago, I clipped the NS wing mirror as I backed the car in to the garage. As I was backing the car in, the mirror bent towards the front of the car and realising my mistake, stopped and drove forward. However, the NS wing mirror indicators no longer work.

I've come across a YouTube video that's quite helpful and can see it's possible to replace the individual 6-off small orange bulbs.

I wondered if any knew if the bulbs might need replacing or if it might be a case of the electric connection possibly being stretched /snapped off and hence no indicators.

I understand I'll need to remove the cover, but fingers crossed someone here might have had a similar experience.

If I do need to replace all 6 bulbs, would anyone have an idea of what they might be? Can they be found in Halfords, or is it a case of having to look online?

Any help or suggestions - much appreciated.

Many thanks

What car is it? W203 is a C Class, but your sig says CLK?
CLK is W208 or facelifted W209, the latter has LED unit for an indicator which is replaced as a complete light unit.

Not sure what 203 matey is working on in the video post# 1 ? but it looks nothing like the mirrors on my 2006 W203 C class.

Mine are powered and heated and do NOT come apart the same way as the ones he is working on.

I appreciate they are different in world markets regarding heating etc and that my car ids one of the last of the 203's built .

Belated update.. and belated fix tbh.

Anyway, pushing the metal clip inwards to release the mirror cover is a pfaff.

My view is someone has been in to both nearside and offside mirrors already. I believe there's supposed to be a cover that protects the mirror's wiring, etc., from the elements. But, as there are no rubber (?) covers visible when the mirror went bent inwards towards the passenger window, it perhaps explains why all wiring connections were looking a bit rusty/tarnished/dirty.

After spraying some WD40 on the various connections plus pins and pin sockets that the wing mirror indicators plug into, hey presto, fully restored / operational nearside indicators working as they should. Great!

Next day... now the bloody offside indicators are playing up! Clearly, they're feeling left out, so will have to do the mirror/indicators this week.

One thing I did find, when trying to get the wing mirror cover back and 'click' into place, what a nightmare... until a neighbor saw me struggling. Fortunately, he kindly held the mirror folded in to the passenger glass while I pushed the metal clip in to place so the cover didn't drop off
