W204 2008 command

Hi guys

My command got the dreadded disc unreadable error

So i installed a new laser

Upon rebuilding and trying in the car i put a cdr in with my selection of tracks just to be greeted with the same error message

Im going to try an original music cd in shortly see if it plays that

My cdr im sure it used to play ok once upon a time

Anyone any ideas as its a new laser

Ive seen a 2010 model on ebay
Does anyone know how to code them in ?
