W204 2010 C180 Slow acceleration

Hi,

Now, I may be imagining this as its been a long time since I last had an automatic but I picked up my first Merc last week and Im feeling like its pretty slow to pull away from stop. its when Im at a junction/roundabout/lights, it feels a wee bit laggy to begin with, even when I switch from Comfort to Sport.

This may just be my perception though. Any way to know or check?

Exactly which engine have you got? If its the KE16ML kompressor ENGINE its 1597 cc !! It was a stopgap petrol engine introduced for a short time till the later more efficient turbocharged series came in. Because the model focussed on mileage it also had a high final drive ratio and lots of minor aerodynamic enhancements- smaller mirrors etc. If its an actual engine fault it often down to loss of kompressor boost somewhere.

Ill check and get back to you on the engine code but im sure its a 1796cc engine and its not a kompressor.
