Just when is the recommended time/mileage to change the Camchain etc. I thought it was 100k but not sure where that came from

Does your car have the 646 or 651 engine fitted? If a 646 engine then the chain should be fine forever really. Some of the later 651 engines have had to have chain and tensioner replacement, although this is not a maintenance procedure
