W204 ABS Sensor Plug Clip

I replaced a front ABS sensor on my W204 today and all went well except for the fact I lost the little metal clip which holds the sensor into the pass through socket - highlighted on the image below. Anyone know what this is called or where to get a replacement one. It was a bit soul destroying to do all the tricky parts of the job and then fail at this hurdle.

Same here, my clip flirted off and I lost it.Hoping the plugs are secure enough without the clip

Your Mercedes Parts Dept will be able to order one surely?

After inserting the plug in the socket, loop a piece of copper wire in the groove where the clip locates and twist the ends to secure it. I’ve done this in the past and it has been sufficient to retain the plug in the socket.

The irony being you don’t need to remove the metal clip at all. You just push it down and pull the connector out. The clip stays safely in place
