W204 C180 (12/2011) Gear boc oil change

Hi, car went for air bag recall, however service is due in few wks so asked for a price.
Local MB dealer (Epsom) has confirmed that Service A, brake fluid, air filter, spark plugs, gerabox oil & filter change is needed, price £895
My question - is gearbox boil change required and does the price seem reasonable?
It's never been changed and and has done around 91000 miles

Gearbox oil change £250 at an Indy , how does that compare to the MB quote ? They should have broken it down

Fluid changes vary in interval depending on the gearbox fitted, but if your car has done 91,000 miles and never had it done, it really does need it!

£900 is a lot of money to spend on a service on a c180 204 with nearly 100k on it.
I know that the gearbox fluid change is overdue but if that were my car I would look for a more sensibly priced independent - and then before spending £600 ish on a big service I'd ask them to take a good look at the car and just check that there isn't one of the petrol engined 204 models achilles heel problems about to bite me eg rotten rear subframe, timing chain.

+ 1 For the rotten rear sub frame ^^^ That would be top of my list before spending a single penny on this car. There is a lot of information on this forum and the internet (UK) . Do that research before planning any more financial outlay on a 91K W204.
