About two months ago I did a long run 250 miles soon as I got home the coolant light came on. I topped it up took about 300ml us MB coolant.
A week later it was due a MOT and A1 service the garage stated the coolant strength was week, I told them about the top up. They replaced the coolant fully but also pressure tested it with no leaks. Only report was dry coolant residue around WP but suspected a old repair.
After another 800 miles did another long trip got home coolant light came back on.
The cars a 60 plate only done 70,000 miles, I cannot get my head around a water pump going so soon when these cars are designed do a lot more millage. I don't want to spend money on replacing it and finding out its something else.
