    Guys,

My C250 cdi centre console gets really hot when driving, to the point where it feels very uncomfortable when your leg rests against it. The car does have the rear digital climate control feature? It's only hot on the drivers side of console.

I have not had chance to pull it apart to check just yet..

    Any ideas?

Not exhaust, It's inside the console it would seem. I wonder if there is heater pipes running to vents as its climate unit in rear?

mine gets hot too... and cold when AC is on low.
It does this on both sides just where your knee touches.

I put it down to odd HVAC routing

    It's this ^

Your rear climate control runs HVAC lines to rear cooling matrixes for your rear independent air con. The return line will be hot.

Try turning AC off at the start of a journey and it shouldn't get hot, to confirm.
