I'll mention it all as something might be related to the latest fault ?

All my issues started after an ecu firmware upgrade during a routine service.

It overheated while stuck on a regen and blew the oil cooler seals.
New seals, 1x complete intake manifold as oiled up and flaps not moving, turbo seals, bolts etc.
Total £1800

A week later I noticed a plume of exhaust coming out of the turbo area and it stank while driving.
I was told that was normal and probably always done it and it needed 2 X injector seals and 1 X injector, a further £800

Took it to another Merc specialistels and was told nothing wrong with the injector seals and to take it back to the other garage. 5 miles later, engine light on, checked iCarsoft, the left air sensor was unplugged !!

Took it to a 3rd specialist - it's your turbo, it's split, a common problem, will be £600 for a new garret turbo - never heard of that common fault so I moved on..

Took it to a 4th merc specialist - they found the EGR pipe not connected properly, obviously from the 1st problem I had, £220 to fix including new turbo seal again and other seals and bolts. Also did a service for me, and washed it.
Total £540

The next day I get the ABS / ESP / run flat inoperative message and the following errors from iCarsoft.

Signal from B64 sensor brake vacuum sensor faulty
Front left axel rpm sensor unreasonable
Front left axel rpm sensor electrical fault
Power supply for B64 not ok
Internal fault of ESP control module

Ignition reset clears it but it intermittently comes back.

I have never seen this fault before - guess it must be coincidence, any ideas ?

Why would I have ever replaced that ?

Also mentions tyre pressure warning not operative on the screen...
Next time it displays the fault I'll try the cruise..

I had the Abs/Esp inoperative, runflat indicator, no power steering issue once on my s204 & it was an abs module fault. Replaced & everything back to normal. Have also heard a faulty wheel sensor can cause the same alerts.

More likely a low battery voltage or possibly an ABS wheel sensor

Has anyone tried recording data with the iCarsoft ?
I can select all 4 wheel sensors to record but when reviewing the data, it just displays in about 400 different doc files - useless unless there is some graphing software I don't know about ?
Eventually it will have to go back to an indi I guess but I am dreading that time...

I suddenly got the ABS/run-flat/anti-skip inactive a few days ago.
When I hook up iCarSoft, the faults identify the right front speed sensor.
If I go to the "show data" section, it will show the reported speed values from each of the 4 sensors.

" All my issues started after an ecu firmware upgrade during a routine service. " was this the sw update MB have been forced to implement my the German courts following the emission scandal.

No, mine is the earlier 2012 car - and I paid for the update, I was told it would cure my eco stop/start problem.
Same symptoms though - no 7th gear until 75 or 80mph, more regens, obviously lower mpg

I can view the sensors in icarsoft, but wanted to record them as the fault is intermittent..
