W204 C63 Sunroof and blind won't operate

100% in this recent weather.
The odd thing is both the blind and sunroof have failed - so I' guessing the motors might be fine, it's something else. Maybe.

A common power supply, ground or control unit seems likely

Is there an emergency close procedure in the handbook?

I have had cars where you could insert a tool to close the roof in case of failure. Perhaps moving it slightly might bring it to life although if it is shut possibly better to leave it

There's no manual override in the instruction manual - but there is a reset method which I've tried with no joy I'm afraid.
