W204 facelift ABS query

I have had my first and current Merc which is a W204 for nearly 2 years and absolutely love it however I have just had to have the ABS pump changed. It was conducted by a MERC specialist (not dealer). I have picked the car up and the ABS fail lights are still up. The garage have told me the car needs driving for a 100 miles or so and the yaw sensor will get what it needs and will reset.

I do trust the garage but is this right?
