I have a quick question , my bumper on my 2008 w204 sport is cracked , and looking for a new bumper? will the facelift bumper with DRL be a direct fit or are they additional adjustments that are needed to make it fit ?.

Yes will fit, you'll need a drl controller for the DRL's though as they wont fit in your front SAM, there might (might!) be a smidge of a gap between your pre FL headlights and the bumper but I can't confirm that. I know if you fit the facelift lights and bonnet there's a gap below the headlights to the pre-facelift bumper

You'd have to buy OEM drls as the knockoffs really aren't the greatest for the facelift shape, unless you buy the knockoff for the 2007-2011 prefacelift bumper which will fit in the bumper you already have, again controlled by a controller like linked above

The drls are quite pricey there's 3x part numbers for each one on each side

As far as a front end conversion (something I'm starting in January) the wings are exactly the same. All you need is the FL bumper, FL bonnet and FL headlights

If you choose FL OEM headlights prepare to pay well over a grand for them, you also need the original HLC's (ballasts) in each headlight that control the LED strip within the headlights (credit to Richard on here for that info) and then everything needs coding

Me personally I bought aftermarket copies from China (around £550 altogether) you'll then need a wiring loom from a company in Germany (£60 odd i think they were) to plug between them and your cars pre-FL headlight connector and away you go. Star coding would be needed to set 'Xenons=Present' after, cheaper than going the OEM route. I chose 5000k HID bulbs with mine, that are built in. No wires hanging out the back of the dust caps

I literally have every link and/or part number you need for all of this so if you need anything more feel free to ask :thumb:

Here's some pics of mine when I finally got them working (I didn't know the harnesses were different at first!)

Lights should be listed on here~ **

Their website wasn't built when I ordered, those headlights on that link are slightly different in the fact that the LED strip also shines white as well as Amber, I prefer the OEM look (only shining Amber) so give the main guy an email direct and ask for the ones I ordered- [email protected] his name is Mark.
Although I did spot someone with that white strip and it did look really good, certainly caught my eye

I still need to get my FL bonnet resprayed and yet to get a bumper and DRL's but yeah second hand is best bet. I paid £400 for my bonnet which was also in white

The wiring harness for ours is here~ http://www.kabeldaviko.de/product_i...en-neu.html&XTCsid=n5fk16c1n82fk7splujibn0dp6

Think they're shut for Xmas as it brings up a landing page mentioning Xmas. Their product code for the harness is 204-734D. Email contact (Frank) is [email protected]

** note those headlights will only work if like my car, yours is Halogen and not xenon from factory. If it's Xenon you'll have to go the OEM route**

Oh I'd love a flip out screen, I searched and searched and could only find the SE model with that in. Infact every SE model I found was fully loaded! After I viewed mine and threw a deposit down I found one sport with the mechanical screen but the interior was in shocking condition

You can buy that screen and fit in yours but takes a lot of coding I believe

For £600ish you can get an entire facelift dashboard including Satnav screen, if you're lucky even including the steering wheel. I know the FL steering wheel doesn't work with our steering columns and the buttons lighting up, which would bug me
