w204 Fog light

Hello,

Was walking around my car this morning and noticed that the glass on the front drivers side fog light had been cracked, surround and everything else OK.

After a bit of searching I haven't been able to find just the glass online. Does anyone know if I can get just the glass or do I need to buy a whole new light? Am I best to approach the steelers to get this sorted?

Not having much luck with glass a the moment as just have had window screen replaced

I replaced the whole lot, you are only £45 for a replacemnt unit including bulb which isnt too bad. Bit of a bugger changing it out but got there in the end with a few cuts and scrapes!!

Are you sure? I paid just over £100 for the whole unit a few months back. It is the same unit used in the 204 and CLK and no doubt other cars. It does include the bulb which is a bit overkill.

PITA to fit as said, if the dealer offers to do it for anything upto £50 I would seriously consider it.

yep and that included vat...Probably took about 30 mins to fit after playing about deciding which bits to take off for in. In the end just removed part of inner arch and use of extender bars for the torqx

thanks for the replies. Got to go to the stealers tomorrow so will get their take on it. Car keeps loosing power :-(
