The last month or so i was certain my W204 was shifting in a way I can only describe as more clunky.
Car was booked in at an Indy on Friday who with star checked for codes which there was none, however there was a software update available to fix a known transmission issue.
With the car updated it drove home lovely, the smoothest it had ever drove until today when I found out after over taking with a boot full of throttle it will drop a gear or two smoothly but if I then quickly come off the throttle it will slam really hard back into the higher gear, very violently almost as if you hit a real deep pothole at speed or bumped by another car etc.
I managed to repeat this 3 or 4 times in a row consistently.
I hope that makes sense but it is difficult to explain.
So is this a driving technique issue or is there still an underlying issue ?
2012 c350 cdi 70k miles and had the gearbox fluid changed January this year.
