W204 heated seats

Hi i have a 2013 w204 amg sports plus coupe i am wondering what would the procedure be to get heated seats in my car as the seats in my car look the exact same as the ones that have heated seats so am wondering what would the procedure be to get them? A full interior change or something small ?

You can replace the seats if you find identical second-hand ones with heating (i.e. same fabric/colour).

Or, you can have heating pads fitted to your current seats. These can be original MB pads, or after-market ones.

In addition you will need a new switch panel under the radio (the individual switches do not come off like they used to in the olden days, instead you'll need to replace the entire panel with new/second-hand), a wiring loom, and I think also STAR coding.

I had mine retrofitted by Comand UK www.comand.co.uk and they did a great job.

They dont half get hot too. Better than any leather seats.

I have heated seats in my W204 but to be honest I've used them perhaps a handful of times in ten years, if I didn't have them I wouldn't go to the trouble and expense to fit them.
