Hi forum.

Didn't realise till MOT yesterday that my nearside indicator mirror repeater isn't working at all on my 2013 W204. Tester marked it as minor (up to 1/2) and I promised to get it fixed ASAP.

Is there a fuse I should be looking for, or is it just replace LED straight away?

Thanks in advance for any help.

I'm surprised there wasn't a message in the dash? Or double speed indicator click?
I don't believe it would be a fuse, most likely the LED or broken wire, especially if the mirrors are routinely folded

Broken wire the most likely culprit. They are very thin , on mine it was the wire that supplied the heated mirror that went. I don't fold them often these days.

The whole inner door card has to come off to unplug and remove the mirror from inside the car. You will need a Torx TR (5 spline) bit to remove the screws , standard Torx (6 spline) will not work.

Not a big job, mine is a much older C class, but I can't imagine why it would be much different on a newer car.

As above , fuse ? not likely , LED pulls very little current.

Thanks for replies.
I'll have a look over the weekend, when I'm back from work. There's no dash warnings, or double speed flashing of indicator. I'll be plugging in my iCarsoft to see what that says too.

Update....

Haven't taken anything apart yet, either rain or needed to be elsewhere, but, definitely no double speed flashing of indicators, and no dash warning.

I plugged in my iCarsoft, and went to monitoring left side mirror repeater, and it shows as active/not active flashing as I'd expect (same as RHS working one), BUT, I do have a current error which will not clear, B179715 "Left standing light 2 has a malfunction short circuit to positive or an open circuit"

I think standing light is parking/side light?? but all mine are working fine and just got through MOT (with the repeater as minor). I wonder if this is a coincidence or if it is relevant?

I'm away again tonight and back with car Weds morning where hopefully good weather will mean a closer inspection.
