w204 OEM pads and disks

So I've just jumped in the car and I've got my 'check brake' warning light...so guessing my pads and disks will need doing on the near future!

So two questions;

1) Is there anyway of knowing if it's the fronts or rears that require changing? Or is it a case of checking the thickness of each again the limits?
2) where is the cheapest place that supplies OEM pads and disk either within the UK or ship to the UK?

Was going to do this also, as I hear they are quite reasonable for disks, but not pads.

Thought I'd been in a post about this before and just found it...sorry for effectively duplicated post.

Anyway on the other thread member was saying they had paid £300 for front discs and pads v £250 for Indie.
