So I bought a new car and knew the front wipers and pump don't work .
On further research i read it could be the sam

Does anyone know how I could test it and any where near to get it repaired

Please help

It will need to be hooked up to diagnostic equipment called star, any local Mercedes specialist near to you should be able to help

Well i would think that op first port of call would be the fuses ......>>>>
Things that go down like this must be coverd by a fuse to start with .

Thank you for the reply :)

I have checked fuses 11, 13 under bonnet. All ok,

Does anyone have a link to a fuses layout ? maybe its a relay

i have it booked in tomorrow with a guy with a star kit, will he be able to see the faults on the SAMS?

So tonight I checked over fuses all ok.

The battery was not connected securely:/ now I've secured the negative terminal all is ok battery side.

Still no wipers tho. Is there a way to check my self if it's a SAM unit ? Like power to motor ? Etc

Thanks

You could be looking at a heater resistor and a combination switch, or a sam or an ignition switch or water ingress it could be loads of stuff, you really need to let a specialist look at it.

or check bonnet is shut as it cuts power to wipers

Thanks.

Does anyone have the electrical drawings for the c lass c320?

I can see the bonnet switch but can check its closing if i see where it goes,

Juat alam the bonnet firmly my c class had wiper problem and it was vonnet not shut tight

Thank you,

I have taken it to a a garage and they say its not the sam unit, but possibly the rain sensor?

looks to have had a new windscreen?

Would this stop the wipers all together ?

so tonight i unplugged the front fog lights, i checked them with a 12v batery all good,

checked the plug read 12v, however when i plugged them in didnt work

any ideas?

Well of anyone is following this and has the same issues with the fog light.

I have had to fit s load resistor. As the guy before obviously didn't buy canbus led fog light strips.

Now the dogs are working
