I'm thinking about getting into one of these if I can find a clean low mileage example.

How can I tell for certain any car I look at has the Performance Pack other than the alcantara on the steering wheel and red calipers?

That is not a tell tale sign as they can are also optional extra's on non-PP cars. Best way is to get a VIN decode which will tell you for sure.

Would a V5 mention Performance Pack also?

The least copied difference is the darker inlet manifold. A few have painted calipers red themselves aftermarket and changed or retrimmed the steering wheel.

No the V5 won't mention it as far as i know. It will just mention that it's a C-class/coupe/saloon etc

As above best way is to do a VIN decode, I believe it’s listed as the P31 option? Bare in mind facelift cars don’t necessarily have the LSD as was standard with the pre facelift PPP
