Is your car pre-wired for a Becker Map Pilot? (it should have a cradle for the unit in the glovebox). If it does, it's just a case of sliding the Map Pilot unit in place.

I see, yes, the Becker Map Pilot was an option on the facelift model (2011-2014). You pre-facelift car will have Audio20 NTG4.

My pre-facelift S204 C220 has Comand NTG4 which has satnav - and as an early one (pre Nov 2008) it used to have the small nav partition that would not accept map updates later than 2014-15 - but comand.co.uk fixed that and I now have the 2018 maps, which I believe are the most recent ones issued.

Beware map update costs - NTG4 uses DVD's that are re-useable so can be bought "second user" then sold on after use, the next iteration NTG4.5 needs a vehicle specific PIN (generated on the MB mainframe from the vehicle VIN) as well as DVD's, so the cheapest you'll ever see is the occasional "special offer" from main dealers of £99, outside the offer it'll likely be £150!!
