W204 steel wheels, will they fit w205 coupe?

Hello, if this has been covered, apologies.
I HAD a W204 Estate (2010) and used to remove my 18 inch alloys in the winter for 16 inch steel wheels with winter tyres, no issues.

I NOW have a 2016 W205 Coupe with 17 inch alloys and TPMS.

Will the 16 inch steels fit?
do I need TPM in each wheel?
or Does selecting “Winter Tyres” in settings turn this off?

Any help on this would be welcome as so far all I have had is conflicting information.

2016 will need proper tpms valves on what ever wheels you put on. You can live with a warning light , but have a mot cert beforehand.
