Phoned for a price for b service for the car,it’s on a 17 plate with 8456 miles,
Mercedes Benz new bridge edinburgh £512.00 includes brake fluid,oil and filter and dust filter.
As above Grangemouth Mercedes Benz £410.00,Mercedes Benz newcraighall £510.00.
An independent Mercedes Benz trained mechanic with Merced’s original parts and oil under £400.00.
Car is under warranty until March 2020.

Independant will probably do a better job for less money and your warranty still stands, assuming he is a VAT registered garage?

He is vat registered I have been using him for years .

Newbridge wanted to put rear discs and pads on my car at 12k miles...they went till the next service at 24k and AC Grangemouth said only pads were needed and that at a vastly discounted rate. Stuart in Grangemouth Service Department is trustworthy and, being a time-served mechanic knows what he is talking about.

That's funny, they told me that too! I declined also, and almost a year later it's about ready for it's next service.

A little further away , but Merparts in Port Glasgow are excellent, all techs are MB master techs , will do warranty work and update MB electronic service book .
