Hi all

On Sunday all of a sudden the display rebooted and now it seems to be stuck in a loop with lines appearing together the end of each cycle.

I’ve scanned for codes and get B227D00 : the watchdog function has detected an internal software error

Anyone else had this and know what’s the fix please. Car is a 2014 model and not under any warranty.

Thanks in advance

Might not help but, why not disconnect the battery for a while and reconnect. I've also heard touching battery positive and negative connections to each other forces a reboot of all systems?

When my screen went "Liney" a couple of months ago I held the power button on the centre console for ten seconds and it all booted up ok. Also read the eject button on the cd does the same.

Thanks. Tried both of these but the same continues to happen

yes I will try this out. Waiting on a new battery so will do it at the same time

This is a regular problem we see, often we can fix them (when Mercedes dealers can't) - but the longer you leave it the less likely we can fix it !

Speak to comand online on 01276 474900

Dont forget that when you change a battery on W205, Xentry must be used to reset the battery charge rate in the front SAM ....

Can this be done remotely as you’re 150miles away. Tried calling the number but went to voicemail

Many thanks.

Tried to call Friday but couldn’t get through. Is this something that can be done remotely as I’m based in the Midlands

Battery changed and no luck

Just an update.

Had a software update this morning which has fixed the issue
