my c class 220 d , the overhead Light stop working , need help , call Mercedes and the said that could be the aux Battery is function l

Are you testing it during the day? It won't come on during daylight.
Have you tried the different switch positions? IIRC auto-on is the centre position

Night time is not working including reading light.
