W205 C220D Sudden break

Dear all

I have 2019 W205 C220D , i had it since few months.

Today while driving at around 30-40 miles , the break went on for few seconds ..

Luckily the road was totally empty ( front & rear)

Any advice ?

'safety' braking as a result of either your adaptive cruise control or some other braking safety gizmo. A collegaue of mine had her brand new Audi A6 slam the anchors on a couple of times mid morning in the middle of summer down from 60 to a stop. Thank God the dual carriageway was quiet both times. Audi could find nothing wrong. It was within the 30 days of buying; the car was rejected and she bought an older second hand 'less safe' car. No accidents or seriously life threatening stupid car erratic behaviour so far.

Call mobilo and have it recovered under warranty if you feel it’s unsafe to drive.

Or call the dealer you bought it from and have them sort it.
