W205 C250 Panoramic roof

Hi all

i have a 2015 W205 C250 with a panoramic sunroof

I used it over the summer and probably stopped using it October time. I had left it in the blind open position. I was cleaning the car on the weekend and went to close the blind and nothing happened. When press the switch, it makes the quick noise for the switch but nothing happens. I checked the 2 fuses associated and they're good.

I gave it to merc yesterday for an hour Diagnostic of £130. They can't see the fault and would need to remove the linings etc 5 hours @£130!!

Any ideas what it could be? I find it hard to see why it suddenly has left its runners or a cog has slipped when its been untouched for 3 odd months.
