Hi All
Had my car for a week and it has already been back to dealers as a lot of recalls needed doing. Recalls include
- touchpad issue
- nav issue
- power steering issue
I thought now that all these are done i would have no more issues but i do.
I have noticed when the car is put into reverse i can hear a noise from the drivers side. The best way to describe the noise is that it is like a ticking noise. It is coming somewhere from the front dash. The noise happens on a cold start and also once it has been driving for a while. The noise does sometimes stop when the steering wheel is moved left to right.
I have also noticed the same noise very lightly when i am driving normally when turning left or right. But it is very light and i notice it more in reverse.
I know that there as been a recall on steering fault (Mercedes-Benz recalls 8,000 new C-Class in UK | This is Money) but i thought they sorted this out.
I can not confirm if I had this noise before i gave it to them but it is booked in again. Has anyone else experienced this? The car is a 14 plate and only done 11k.
