I have a 2012 W207 350CDI on 95k miles.

At a recent service I was advised that both front shock absorbers were leaking and needed replacing, I was quoted just over £500 for supply and fit, I have no idea if this is a reasonable price for this work, would appreciate if anyone could share their views or better still what they have paid for the same job.

The same service I was advised it was good practice to change the diff oil every 40k miles, again I would appreciate any views / thought folks might have about this service item?

Sachs shocks for my 2017 e350 are £212 for the pair . At autodoc . Guess your paying just under £300 labour . I'd estimate an hour a side if things come apart easily.

I do the diff oil every 40k it’s a cheap job using Fuchs oil , 1.3 L in the diff (on both mine) , maybe £13 a L

Your car is based on the running gear of the W204 C-Class, the diff oil has no specific change interval but it's a cheap and easy job so worth doing.
