I'm looking at swopping the plastic small paddle changers on my new E Coupe to some nice AMG W212 ones and wondered if A2125450068 and A2125450168 are the correct parts for the sport steering wheel (tiny air bag and aluminium 3 spoke design like the new R172 SLK).

If so, does anyone know how to install them as they sit directly behind the buttons which are not part of the air bag assembly and isn't screwed in - its a spring release?

I can't comment on the new cars, but I did this on my wife's 2009 CLK - was a straight swap and I didn't even have to disconnect the airbag.

I did a W209 and yes it was easy but on these new steering wheels , it looks a lot more complicated as the menu/radio buttone don't come off with the air bag.

Did you use the above part numbers on the CLK?

No, different parts on CLK. Comand Online sell the CLK ones
