SLK32, Clio Diesel
I love this car, and in the short 7 months I've had it, it's made me smile more than any other car I've owned. But it's wasted on me and has spent most of it's time with me just going to the shops (always the long way!), so it's going up for sale.

The spec:

  • 2001 Y
  • Approx 98500 miles
  • MOT - Jan 2014 - No advisories, done 2.5k since.
  • Tax - July 2014
  • Designo diamond black paint
  • 18" Split rims - Genuine
  • Designo black leather interior
  • Comand with 2009 maps
  • Parktronic
  • Linguatronic
  • Cruise control
  • Xenons
  • Dual Zone Climate control - Not cold
  • Phone
  • Rear Blind
  • Electric folding mirrors
  • Heated seats
  • Ski Sack
  • Second boot lock
I think every option was ticked!

Since I've had the car the following has been done ( in last 2.5k miles) :

  • Oil & filter
  • Spark plugs
  • Air filters
  • Cabin filter
  • 2x Goodyear front tyres
Also included, but not fitted:

  • Genuine front discs
  • Mintex front pads
  • Ignition lead set
The condition

Mechanicals - All good. Engine starts on the button, hot or cold. Pulls really well. Gearbox is smooth and changes as it should.

Electrics - Everything works, though not actually used the phone or linguatronic. The only electrical maladies I've found is the oil level sensor. Sometimes when starting from cold as the engine gets up to temperature - when the coolant temp reaches just past half way - the check oil level warning comes on. The oil level is always fine. Pixels gone in temperature gauge.

Bodywork - It's not perfect, though is not a pig! There's some scratches on the bonnet which I think a cat is responsible for! There is some bubbling above the rear numberplate and around the boot lock. The front nearside wing has some rust on it's lower edges and there's a chip in the middle of the wing. It could do with a good machine polish.

Interior - Great condition with no wear on the front seats. Rears may never have been used.

Wheels - They need a refurb, but are a really nice (and really expensive option) set of wheels, best design for the 208.

That's all I can think to say about it. Pictures will hopefully be added shortly.

I'm looking for £3250 - No offers as it's more than worth that! I'm in no hurry and don't need a quick sale.

Car is in Sheffield.

Any questions, send me a message!

Here are the pictures and some further info. It was raining so the pictures aren't the best!

Edit to above:

The 2 new tyres were Dunlop
There were 2 advisories on the last MOT - 1 for a worn front tyre which has since been replaced and one for a ball joint, also replaced.
I forgot 1 other option - Fire extinguisher!

And finally to show that it can also be fairly economical (For a 5.4 v8!)
