Before you say it I know there are lots of posts on this but they don't help.

I have a 2002 2.3k clk convertible and I've gone through 5 new battery's in 9 months due to draining, if I'm lucky it will start in the morning but most I have to end up charging the battery for a while. I have replaced the alternator and I know its working but something keeps nicking all my juice by the morning. please help I'm going mental!

You'll have to go through the fuses with a multimeter and find the drain I'm afraid.

If it kills it overnight , it shouldn't be too hard to find

Thanks for responding, I have an old one and couldn't find anything with it so might have to invest in a newer digital one.....that's if I'm even using it correctly.

Does you car alarm siren work? There is a good chance that may be the cause of the drain. Test the alarm to see if it works.

Plenty of how to find a battery drain videos on youtube. You need to let the car fully go to sleep, to get a measure before you start pulling fuses, that can take up to 20 mins.

The most common issues I'm aware of for battery drain in a clk are the front door control units, and the Command system (if fitted)
Disconnect the battery and put an Ammeter in series with it to actually see how much of a drain you have, then remove each fuse to see which one(s) eliminates the drain.

While the car is locked.
