W208 cabriolet side window seal

Hi

I need to replace the rubber seal on the rear side window of my 2002 230 kompressor cabriolet.

I picked up the new seal from MB Parts but nobody could give me the correct way to fix it nor did the seal come with any fixings and apparently none were listed.

The old one appears to have a length of double sided tape on the back of it but there is also evidence of adhesive.

At over £40:00 each I would prefer to do a lasting job

I would appreciate any input.

Anyone have any info on this as I have just ordered a new seal and am going to face the same problem in a few days time?
I'm sure someone, somewhere must have replaced this seal in the past and can throw some light on the fixing method.
Hopefully no one has replied up to now 'cos it's such an easy job.
