W208 clk '00 LCD DEAD PIXELS

Hi everyone. My 2 small screens where is show temperature and time with gears i fault( 98% pixels is dead). Who know where I can find it new screens or fix old one. Thank you for any informations :bannana:

The gell ribbon cable inside the unit needs more clamping force to make a good connection.

Pull the cluster out and clamp the circuit board down tighter by insertering rubber strips under the clamps. Rubber bands work well.

I've just bought myself a set of cluster removal tools (£16!!!) so I'll be trying fix my pixel and bulb problem myself. Fingers crossed

To add to my last post, if I try to fix the pixel problem myself by pulling the dash display out will I loose any info when I plug it back in again?

I really don't want to cost myself more money in an attempt to save some???
