W208 Clk 320 - Acceleration Lag

Hi people,

I have a W208 Clk 320. When I put my foot down to accelerate then there is a lag before it reacts and then it moves. What could this be? I read somewhere that this could be throttle pedal fault

The MAF or mass airflow sensor is almost certainly to blame.
Around £160 for a genuine one, five to ten minutes to fit.
People recommend against using anything but the genuine item.

+1 here. I'd say your MAF was faulty too....

Give the MAF a go , just done mine and it made the world of difference!
