w208 CLK Air Con

Hi,

I have just had my air con re-gassed but for some reason the windows keep steaming up when there are more than 2 people in the car irrespective of the weather.
I have to keep hitting the de-mist and sometimes the blower is not very strong, it does come on but not very strong.
any ideas..............

Maybe you and the person you are in the car with should learn to control yourselves!

Seriously though, i'm wondering if there is a blocked drain trap somewhere in your system that is causing moist air to be blown into the car, hopefully someone who knows a bit more will be along soon!

Does it smell? Sort of a musty smell?

May be worth changing the pollen and charcoal filters if fitted, i had similiar problem and as already said was leaves blocking a couple of drain holes under the bonnet so fan was drawing in constant damp air.

I also had a boot water leak so the car was constantly damp and caused all the same probs as yours even though the water was in the boot and it was only a very small amount.

As a married man with 3 kids the only misbehaving involves my kids trying to kill each other!!!
